The Vault at Carter Vintage Guitars is a 1,700 sq ft private event space in the heart of the Gulch surrounded by hundreds of rare and historic instruments. Exposed white brick, hardwood floors, and walls lined with vintage Gibsons, Fenders, and Martins. It’s a setting that does something most Nashville event venues can’t: it gives your guests something to talk about.
Everything You Need
Most Nashville event venues charge extra for the basics. At The Vault, every rental includes private use of the full space, setup and breakdown time, a dedicated on-site venue manager, and janitorial service. For larger events, The Vault and Carter Vintage Guitars’ main showroom can also be combined into one seamless full-buyout venue.

Where is The Vault located?
606 8th Ave. S., Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37203 in the Gulch, above the Carter Vintage Guitars showroom.
How many people does The Vault hold?
Up to 80 guests for a seated dinner, or 100+ for standing and reception formats depending on layout.
What types of events is The Vault best suited for?
Corporate offsites, client dinners, brand activations, listening sessions, product launches, private celebrations, and intimate performances. If you’re not sure whether your event is a good fit, reach out and we’ll let you know.
What hours is The Vault available?
We’re flexible on event timing and can accommodate most schedules. For after-hours events, additional staffing (including security) may be required. For load-in and load-out, we prefer these to take place before 10:00 AM or after 6:00 PM to avoid disruption to the main showroom.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least one month in advance to allow ample time for planning. That said, we can often accommodate shorter timelines depending on availability.
Can I bring my own vendors?
All external vendors are coordinated through our Senior Events Coordinator, who will guide you through options from our preferred partners across catering, bar, florals, and AV.
Is catering provided?
The Vault has a kitchen available for food prep. We don’t provide catering directly but can connect you with trusted partners, or you’re welcome to bring your own.
Can I combine The Vault with the main guitar showroom?
Yes. For larger events, The Vault and Carter Vintage Guitars’ main showroom can be combined into one full-buyout venue. Reach out for combined pricing.
What is the cancellation policy?
The full rental amount is due upon execution of the agreement. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event date. If the agreement is executed within two weeks of the event, full payment is required at signing.
What's the booking deposit?
50% at booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your event.
Are the guitars accessible during the event?
Guitar interaction options are available through our event extras. Standard rentals include the guitars as part of the ambient setting guests can admire them but not handle them without a booked experience.
What's not included in the rental rate?
Food and beverage, additional furniture rentals, talent, security, and staffing are not included in the base rate. All of these are available on request, just let us know what you need when you inquire.
